The second quarter of 2020 began with a pandemic and the lockdown of the entire world. Despite this, eKuore improved its results, with an exponential increase in sales.
This growth was due to the increase in demand for the stethoscope, due to its great utility as a device that reduces the risk of contagion, in addition to the unparalleled boom in telemedicine services that took place around the world.
At the same time, eKuore launched a new medical product, the otoscope Pro, which is sold throughout Europe and has been very well received, as, like the eKuore Pro stethoscope, it is an indispensable device for telemedicine, as well as allowing perform otoscopies at a greater distance than traditional devices, thus increasing the distance between doctor and patient, again reducing the risk of contagion from Covid-19.
On the other hand, with the aim of improving the user experience of veterinary products, eKuore launched the new APP “eKuore Vet” that integrates all veterinary devices in a single application.
As for new distributors of the products in the medical sector, eKuore opened the market with Medica91 in Poland and EMD112 in Italy in European territory. Delta Pyramax, which, in addition to handling medical distribution, also handles veterinary products, will market eKuore devices in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore. Regarding veterinary distribution in other continents, distribution was opened with two new partners in Colombia, Internacional Vet and Gabrica SAS.
