Valencia, 22th, December 2015.- eKuore in one of the three Spanish “start-ups” rewarded in National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition 2015, honoree with 250.000 euros (25.000€ by proyect). INJUVE Competition, has selected 10 enterprises. This award is one with major recognition and relevance in Spain.
Spanish Youth Institute (INJUVE) assign to the Health Ministry aims to promote equal opportunities, facilitate youth participation in political, social, economic and cultural development, and to encourage cross-governmental collaboration. The judges valued the business model, the economic results of these young companies, the capacity of employment creation and his presence on international markets.
eKuore develop medical technology “mHealth”, introduce successfully the first smart electronic stethoscope in November, 2015 at MEDICA (Dusseldorf), the most important fair of the sanitary sector. This innovative device is in the market since 2016. In other hand, these young entrepreneurs expect to continue catching the attention of new investors that allows them to continue developing this innovative project.
The CEO, Rubén López “this award is recognition of a solid future project. It just make us thought that we should continue developing devices that contribute to improve sanitary sector efficiency and it allows to monitor patiences”.
eKuore, through FINNOVA, was the winner of “SME Instrument” part of European Commission which provide with 50.000€ in the first phase and now eKuore is getting ready for the second phase where aspire to 5 million euros. eKuore was the winner of the second edition of Lanzadera project and in the first edition of Minerva program.
In total, 3 enterprises, 30% of the awardees in national-level are from Valencian Community (Waynabox, Grupo Hoy Media and eKuore). Definitely it is a great recognition to these initiatives that motivate the objective of being part of European projects that contribute credibility, visibility and internationalization options.
The others 7 winners of National Youth Entrepreneurship Competition 2015 are Mahei Engineering (Barañain, Navarra), Mejor Contigo, (Salamanca) Megafounder, (Gerona), Sabiotec Spin Off, (Ciudad Real), Cuicui Studios, (Gijón, Asturias), Altos de Calblanque, (Alcantarilla, Murcia), Sonea Ingeniería y Medio Ambiente (Cuarte, Huesca).
